Qing receives Cook Award from Bucknell University for a creative research trip in Spain. With this award, she will explores photography and the last piano cycle Iberia by Isaac Albéniz.

In February 2020, Qing is joined by her long-time musical partner violinist Ying Xue, returning to Yellow Barn for an artist residency, to bring the “Refractions” program they started last year to fruition. They will focus on sonatas of Bach and Debussy, juxtaposed with works written over the past decade by Tonia Ko, Eric Nathan, Sean Shepherd, and Daniel Temkin.

From March 25-27, 2018, Qing leads a celebration of Debussy's music at Bucknell, with a solo concert featuring Debussy's Etudes and a new commission from Zhou Tian, as well as chamber appearances with violinist Ying Xue, the Parker String Quartet, and others.

In September 2017, Qing will perform with the Shanghai Quartet at the storied Music Mountain (CT) festival; in November 2017, they bring a seperate program to the Weis Center (PA).

In December 2016, Qing will tour throughout China with Laurie Smukler, Roger Tapping, and Natasha Brofsky.

Qing has been appointed as a tenure-track Professor of Piano at Bucknell University.
